The Valley’s transportation system thrives as it is home to regional airports, major interstates and reliable rail.
The area is in close proximity to I-80, I-81 and I-83 as well as U.S. Routes 11-15 and Route 522. The local airport is located in the heart of the region and the Harrisburg International Airport is less than an hour away from most Valley residences and businesses. The area offers two reliable short lines through Canadian Pacific Railroad and Norfolk Southern, which many businesses take advantage of, and two major ports – Baltimore and Philadelphia – are only three hours away.
Penn Valley Airport Located one mile north of Selinsgrove, the Penn Valley Airport provides a full-service general aviation facility. The 3,800- by 75-foot, fully-lighted runway with parallel taxi-way provides access to nearly all single- and twin-engine aircrafts. The airport provides major/minor repairs, hanger rentals, tie down, APU, air taxi, charter, aircraft rental, flight instruction, avionics, local altimeter settings, 100LL and Jet A Fuel, as well as single- and twin-engine aircraft maintenance, and repair services.
SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority SEDA-COG, a council of governments serving 11 counties in Central Pennsylvania, owns five short line railroads that comprise nearly 200 miles of track. The Joint Rail Authority serves three counties in the Greater Susquehanna Valley, as well as several surrounding counties, providing connections to CSX, Norfolk Southern, and the St. Lawrence and Hudson railroads.
Canadian Pacific Railroad Canadian Pacific's Sunbury Line runs from Sunbury to Wilkes-Barre, stopping at Riverside, South Danville, Catawissa, East Bloomsburg, Mifflinville, Nescopeck, Wapwallopen, Mocanaque, and Nanticoke. From Wilkes-Barre, the line continues north and also south towards Allentown. At Sunbury, the line meets Norfolk Southern's Buffalo Line. Canadian Pacific has a trackage agreement with Norfolk Southern, giving it trackage rights south to Harrisburg.

The company operates 21,500 route miles in 22 eastern states, as well as the District of Columbia and Ontario, Canada. Norfolk Southern's Buffalo Line runs from Buffalo, NY, to Harrisburg, PA.
