The population of the GSVCC’s service area is 140,000, with small towns dotting the rural landscape and river valleys. Sunbury – located at the confluence of the Main and West branches of the Susquehanna River – is the region’s largest city, with approximately 11,000 residents. Other major towns and boroughs along the Susquehanna include Lewisburg (pop. 5,600), Selinsgrove (pop. 5,400), Danville (pop. 4,897), and Mifflinburg (pop. 3,594).
